Items Discussed:

Correspondence JHT: Phone call to David Beale of Freshwater.  Formalities for getting tenders for the Major Works are now nearly complete.  Residents should receive their letters in the next few days.  The decision to proceed with Princeton and Yale in one year appears to have been made.  We have the verbal assurance of Freshwater that anybody who has genuine intention to pay the service charge but having difficulty would be allowed time to pay.  ID reminded us that that was the arrangement when the lifts were being replaced.  The benefit of having the same contractors as before was agreed.  RG said that it was important to ensure matching of materials in colour, texture etc. otherwise we would lose the uniformity of the complex.

JHT Phone call to Bruton Knowles.  Asked when residents would receive the promised compensation for disturbance during the floodwall construction.  We are assured that for accountancy reasons, the Environment Agency must pay the money before the finance year end (April 4th).  This is good news: we have waited long already.

Gill Catchpole (112) sent us a copy of a letter to Cllr Brandon-Bravo re the youth club at Trentside Club on Wednesdays.  Specifically, the trouble of youths from outside the area hanging around the complex causing trouble.

Date of next meeting:  April 29th 2008.
